In general, Cat's House is simply open-for-play. We also host occasional theme parties, classes, massage workshops, discussion groups and other social events each month. To become a guest or member, we need to meet you in person so we can explain our rules, answer your questions and get to know a bit about you.
Cat's House will have a policy of radical self reliance at our events. Except for occasional big events, dinner buffets will no longer be served at our parties. If you need snacks due to health issues, bring them with you. If you'd like to bring snacks to share with others, you're welcome to do so. If you need towels/toys/condoms/gloves, bring them with you. Only bottled water will be supplied by Cat's House.
Cat's House has speakers and a volume control in each play room. If you have a room to yourself and don't like the music playing, you are welcome to bring your own CD player and CDs, turn the volume to zero, and play whatever music you like. We will no longer try to please everyone by changing the music because a few request it. If you know you want a certain type of music for the scene you plan, please bring it with you.
Smoking will be allowed in the backyard but absolutely no play will be allowed outside. First aid kits will be available and fire extinguishers will be located throughout the dungeon.
Finally, there will be no charge and no membership required for those attending social activities at Cat's House. This means that if any of the Sacramento area leather groups wish to hold a potluck, discussion group or class/demo at Cat's House, they are welcome to schedule a time to do so and their members will be allowed in free of charge. The hosting group will be responsible for paying any speakers/instructors they invite. All expenses of that event (including clean up) will be the responsibility of the hosting group. Please contact us if you have any questions about this policy.
